Hi all,
I have a question about trees. I've posted this question on the SRGC forum too, but I'd like as many opinions as possible:
The first Epi's are in flower here :D :D :D
E. x versicolor 'Cherry Tart'
E. x warleyense (I suspect this is E. x warleyense 'Orangekönigin', like the one on the next pic...but I'm not sure, so until I'm sure I'll keep it named as the pure hybrid)
E. x warleyense 'Orangekönigin'
and a very young plant of E. x youngianum 'Freckles' Cc. 950080 (2 last pics)
One of the first woodlanders to flower here:
Ypsilandra cavaleriei
The following posts from spring 2010 will help kickstart this topic as we head towards spring 2011.
Two photos of Iris cristata 'Sam's Mini', a low growing and floriferous variety found by Sam Norris of Kentucky.
Schefflera delavayi
I have been selecting out my best Asarum maximum with silver leaves so I can propagate them. I cant wait to see how much better they will look next year they seem to get better and better with each new leaf.
Here are a few of my Begonia talienis 'marbled leaf form'. They are getting better and better every month it is a shame winter is coming. Now I have to wait to select the best ones to cross.
I have a pot of this lovely plant and I'm considering where to place it. I have plenty of woodland areas, but I also have some shady areas around the house, and a lot of borders along the 800 plus feet of stone wall.
Apropos of nothing really, but sort of interesting...
From a quick google, it seems there are a staggering number of mislabelled photos/plants out there, that are claimed to be Lysimachia lichiangensis, but appear instead to be various yellow-flowered Lysimachia spp. (often L. punctata). :o (This, even from some nurseries! ???)
