The North American Rock Garden Society offers a range of tours. Each
tour has a dedicated Leader who will be knowledgeable about the area
to be visited and the type of plants to be seen.
NARGS has several tours being planned for the remainder of 2026 and through 2027. For the following 12 months, our theme will be the flora of Turkiye. This Oct 18-25, 2026, we are organizing a tour to see the fall flowering bulbs (and many historical ruins!) of the Anatalya region of southwest Turkiye. In March of 2027, we will visit the shores of the Black Sea in northwest Turkiye and neighboring Georgia. Early flowering bulbs, especially Galanthus, and spring woodland flowers, will be the focus. In July of 2027 we will return to northwest Turkiye but this time to visit the Pontic Alps and foothills to see a wide variety of alpines, woodland plants and even lingering bulbs. These tours will be posted once fully organized so please check back regularly.
