Hello everyone, I am really excited to share my rock garden with you all. My name is Steve Owens and my garden is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States. Situated on the southeastern edge of the Great Plains region, it roughly straddles the line of USDA hardiness Zones 6 and 7. We receive around 35 to 40 inches (90 – 100 cm) of precipitation annually and can experience winter lows of -20°F (-29°C) and summer highs of 115°F (46°C). Positioned at the edge of the prairie, the area is known as The Cross Timbers.
