I made yesterday a small Facebook page

The plants are not for sale
and of-course Merry Christmas for every body from a cold Europe

Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Season's Greetings all, fine to post this here :)
Roland, I share your sentiment, I hated Facebook at first, still some things annoy me about it. But if one is selective to join (like) the right pages that match one's interests, you can tailor FB for a better experience. As you say, there are lots of specialized pages for plant lovers. There are also "private groups" that people make, unfortunately one needs to be invited to join in, but one can make their own groups as well, and start inviting people in.
Here are some good facebook plant pages:
Flora of Chile:

For incredible photographic imagery, lots of remarkable landscapes:

ps: I like the smile tear-off tickets!
Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Facebook is a venue like any other online or in real life- lots of good stuff, lots of things you wont be interested in- basically what you make of it :) TONS of great specialised plant groups with awesome content, and very very easy to use..
I agree the smiley tear aways are cute..
Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Here some Facebook sites where you have to be member from to see
The last word is the speciality
https://www.facebook.com/groups/planetbulb/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/planetaroid/
Rare plants enthusiasts group is https://www.facebook.com/groups/132249633528667/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/planetcapebulbs/
but as Mark mentioned there are loads of special facebook sites
where you can learn a lot
as long as you choose good friends ;)
Thanks for the links Mark :)

Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Thanks for the links Mark :)
Roland
I should have clarified, in the Contato Landscapes Facebook link, they mostly just repost material from other pages, here's one that has thousands of amazing landscapes, green roofs, living walls, etc., it is Ecossistemas-Gardens-Centers:

Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Mark

Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
It seems that links with the "#" symbol in them do not get automatically read as a whole link. In such cases where links are not interpreted correctly on the forum, one can use the "Insert Hyperlink" button, one of the toolbar buttons just above the smiley icons, and re-paste in the link.
Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Yeh
amazing site
Thanks

Re: Facebook Page - Bulborum
Here's an amazing site, all "rock" gardeners might be interested in this zen art with rock. Read how this artist might get such unlikely stacking of rock.
The Art of Rock Balancing by Michael Grab.

AMAZING
I put it on my time-line

Roland - I've never been on Facebook but there are some very interesting plants there like the form of Cyclamenhederifolium and Arum pictum forms. I think some (younger!) members of the AGS have Facebook pages and it would be great to get more connection between these and the Alpine Forums. Will have to explore Facebook more!
